Our Story

My name is Luca and I am a fourth-year medical student in Pilsen. My dream specialty is ENT and head and neck surgery. I am the one who manages the e-shop and social media, creates designs, and comes up with new products.

In 2023, during my first year at my dream medical faculty, the first idea for Medikards was born. I wanted to show that chemistry, biology, and physics don't have to be just boring and complicated.
And so, not only an e-shop was created, but also a community that presents medicine in a new, fresh way. The goal is to offer modern, minimalist medical-themed products that appeal not only to medical students, doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, veterinarians, and pharmacists, but even to those who have nothing to do with medicine.
Every design you find on the e-shop is hand-drawn and thought out to the last detail by me.
We also place a strong emphasis on packaging and delivery speed – we try our best to ensure packages arrive the very next day and that the unboxing itself is an experience. We care about the look of the package from the outside as well as the inside, because every detail brings joy.
We cooperate with Czech printers and sewing workshops. Local manufacturers, premium quality.

All 912 flashcards are the result of an effort to summarize a huge amount of information so that it is practical, effective, and truly useful. They are lightweight, easily portable, so you can study anywhere – on the subway, in a queue, or in a doctor's waiting room. Every flashcard is double-sided. On one side you will find a specific term, and on the other, there is a clear and understandable explanation, formula, or visual aid – a graph, diagram, or picture.
I created the flashcards myself — a successful medical entrance exam graduate. They are suitable for all medical faculties in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
